As of November 10 2011 Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) reports that the annual 500 cap for NOC 3152: Registered Nursesand NOC 1122: Professional Occupations in Business Services to Management has been reached. No more applications will be accepted for these occupation unless the principal applicant has an offer of arranged employment. Fellows should also note that 476 applications for NOC 3131: Pharmacists have been received against an annual cap of 500.

As of November 10, 2011 CIC reports that they have not received any applications from PhD applicants. The total cap for PhD applications is 1,000.
